vir03 | Here we validate this invalidly described (Bœuf et al. 2014: 116, 118) syntaxonomic concept by selecting the Salicion callicarpeae Daniëls in Mucina et al. 2016 (see Remark vir04 below) as the holotypus hoc loco. The following taxa are to be considered diagnostic of the new order: Alnus alaxensis, Betula pubescens var. pumila, Salix alaxensis, S. glauca, S. lanata, S. lapponum, S. myrsinithes, S. phylicifolia, S. pulchra and Sorbus groenlandica.
