iso05 | The 'Nanocyperion' Koch 1926 is a validly published name based on the Cyperetum flavescentis to which Koch (1926) refers the 'Juncus compressus-Parvocyperus-Association' of Braun-Blanquet (1922). The latter is a valid name based on one relevé published by Braun-Blanquet (1922) in the Schaedae ad Floram Rhaeticam exsiccatam, 4. Lieferung, Nr. 413. The Nanocyperion Koch 1926 should actually be the valid name for the Radiolion if the 'Cyperetum flavescentis Koch 1926' (nomen superfluum for the 'Junco compressi-Parvocyperetum Braun-Blanquet 1922') was included in the latter alliance (see also Täuber & Petersen 2000).
