– sup02 Martín Osorio et al. (2007) and Rivas-Martínez et al. (2002a: 281) published proposals serving this name change. This mutation appears as superfluous since the latest molecular-phylogenetic studies (Cubas et al. 2002) established that the genus Spartinocytisus should be included within the Cytisus. (L. Mucina).
