Caucalidion platycarpi von Rochow 1951 nom. mut. propos.
(mut.illeg.)
– par09 Rivas-Martínez et al. (2002a: 254) formally suggested this name change. However, von Rochow (1951) described Caucalidion without any epithet. The original diagnosis contains two Caucalis species (C. daucoides and C. latifolia) and therefore it should be called simply Caucalidion that does not lend any support to the nomen mutatum proposal. (M. Chytrý, L. Mucina).
